Terms of Service

Effective date: June 2026

1. Overview

These Terms of Service govern your purchase and use of Foundry, a software boilerplate product offered by C5 Group LLC. By purchasing or downloading Foundry, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not purchase or use the product.

Payments are processed by Stripe, who acts as the Merchant of Record for all transactions. Your payment and billing relationship is with Stripe, not directly with C5 Group LLC. Stripe is responsible for collecting and remitting any applicable sales tax or VAT on your purchase, and issues your receipt.

2. License

Upon purchase, you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Foundry source code to build and sell your own software products. This license is perpetual for the version purchased.

The CLAUDE.md, AGENTS.md, prompts, and slash commands included in Foundry are yours to keep and adapt as tools for your own development workflow.

3. Restrictions

You may not:

  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Foundry boilerplate itself as a standalone product or template.
  • Share your private repository access with individuals who have not purchased a license.
  • Remove or obscure any copyright notices included in the codebase.
  • Claim authorship of Foundry as a product (you may claim authorship of products you build with it).

4. Intellectual Property

C5 Group LLC retains all intellectual property rights in the Foundry product, including the value-add layer: CLAUDE.md, AGENTS.md, prompts, slash commands, security framework, and documentation. Products you build using Foundry are entirely your own.

5. All Sales Final

All purchases are final. Because you receive immediate access to the full private source code upon purchase, we do not offer refunds. Please review the product description, features list, and FAQ carefully before purchasing. If you have pre-purchase questions, email support@getfoundry.dev.

6. Warranty Disclaimer

Foundry is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the software will be error-free or that it will meet your specific requirements.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, C5 Group LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business, arising from your use of Foundry, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the product.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of El Paso County, Texas.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the product after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Material changes will be communicated via email to the address on file.
