Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 2026

1. Who We Are

Foundry is a software product offered by C5 Group LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you visit getfoundry.dev or purchase a Foundry product.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only the minimum information necessary to deliver your purchase:

  • Email address: Collected at the time of purchase via Stripe. Used to deliver your purchase confirmation, GitHub repository access instructions, and product updates.
  • GitHub username: Collected at checkout to grant access to your private repository. Not stored beyond what is needed for delivery.
  • Payment information: Handled entirely by Stripe, our Merchant of Record. We never see or store your payment card details.

3. Payments and Stripe

Purchases are processed by Stripe (stripe.com), who acts as the Merchant of Record and is the seller of record for your transaction. Stripe handles all payment processing, tax calculation and remittance, and receipts. Checkout is presented through Stripe's Link service, and your order history and any subscription management live there. Stripe's privacy policy applies to data collected at checkout. We receive only what is necessary to fulfil your order, which is your email address and GitHub username.

4. Analytics

This site may use basic, privacy-respecting analytics to understand visit patterns (pages viewed, traffic sources). We do not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking. Analytics data is aggregated and not tied to individual identities.

5. How We Use Your Information

  • To deliver your purchase (repository access, download links).
  • To respond to support requests.
  • To send product update announcements (you may opt out at any time).

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

6. Data Retention

We retain your email address for as long as needed to support your purchase and communicate product updates. You may request deletion at any time by emailing support@getfoundry.dev.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@getfoundry.dev.

8. Security

We take reasonable technical measures to protect the information we hold. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We encourage you to use strong, unique passwords and keep your GitHub account secure.

9. Children

Foundry is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
